Anniversary

Well tomorrow will be my 2 year anniversary! Brad Mark and I have been married a entire two years. And to think it all started with a weekend at the Annual Rattlesnake roundup and ended with a trip to the Justice of the Peace and a reception at the local leaky roof bar. Darts or Pool was the entertainment of choice. However, after a few beers, who needs entertainment. Two years later, we can't recall what we did for our first anniversary and building a new porch for our house is all the entertainment we can handle. What do you expect with 3 teenagers, a 5 year old, and a very spoiled dog? We have learned a lot in the last two years. The most recent, it's just too dang hard to start over with someone else-LOL. We have worked hard for the last two years to figure all this out, why give up now. Well, we now know you must make an effort every day to wake up with the other person in mind and be willing to serve them just for that day. Courtesy and respect! One day at a time! Honor and cherish! Trust and friendship! Well all the advice that the "older" generation gives you turns out to be true. I learn to love my husband every day, one day at a time.

What will we be doing a year from now? Who knows, but we may have a deck by then. Or maybe siding on the house. Well for now, I will be happy with the new porch made from scraps in the back yard. Today was a good day!
